Yeah! TB is one of my fav series! We get the German copys in our German PonyClub, we get the 38th in the next package!
I read all 37 and love them but sadly, they are getting worse! I love Ashleigh so much. She was nice and a really good main chara but now she is so dumb!
These new authors don't know what they are writing! Everytime there is something wrong about the color or the age, characters change and sometimes people disappear.
My fav books are 1-5 but 6-12 are also very good. And I like Ashleigh and Sam really, but when Cindy came, the books changed dramatically! They got really worse.
So I hate book 22, because Cindy and Champion beat Ashleigh and Limitless in the race.
And I don't like Mel much, but she is better than Cindy. Chris is really nice, I like her, but I can't understand how fast she changed her mind when Star was born (sadly, the German translator translated Star in the German word Stern but this is no name for a stallion! This sound like a little pony! For me, it will always be Star).
And Ashleigh (which is called Aileen in Germany, perhaps the translator thought this name would be too difficult for the German readers
) even gets really bad when Wonder died (oh I cried, and cried, and cried through the whole book)! She would never, NEVER, give Star to the Townsends!
On the subject, the Townsends (mainly Brad) changed also drastically. First, they want to have every foal of Wonder and then, Whitebrook can do everything they want to do with Champion. And Brad was so strange in 37, he was kind of nice to Chris and give immediately up when Ashleigh came to bring Star back to Whitebrook.
You see, I'm a real fan of Ashleigh and the first books and I'm really sad about the change in the newer books.
