What was your inspiration? Why did you start to love riding or horses?

I'm hoping for some shocking replies! Shocked

i'm not sure for as long as i can remember i've liked horses but mom says it might have something to do with my freind across the street who was into horses when we were little. that's probly true cause i've always been into animals ever since i was born as far as i know but i went through stages. first cats were my absolute fav animal then dogs and after that i've really never moved from dogs though i have a obsession over horses to i think they come second in my book. i'm not entirely sure of that it's hard to tell they are both so awesome.  lol i want career with dogs but i have horse pictures plastered all over my walls in my room so who knows i love em both. i know one thing i'll never stop loving horses.

I've always loved all animals. I started riding when I was 9 because my sister was going to ride with a friend so I joined them. And I was instantly hooked. They've been my fave animal since (I'm 19 now) and I want to work with them in the future.

I have absolutly no idea. i guess it was just my fasination with animals ever since i was little that drew me to the beauty of them. Hrses have always been one of my favorte animals. i used to read every book i could lay my hands on that was about horses. It was actually to one point to were if someone asked me anything about a horse i could aanswer it right on the spot. its not the same anymore though lol. Plus i always loved the graceful movements of the horse, the way they galloped and the way their mane and tail flowed behind them. it always amazed me. My fasination with them really escalated about 2 years ago when i got my very own first horse. he was only 2 weeks old and was the cutest little thing i had ever seen. He's 2 years old now. sure reading about horses and everything is amazing, but not nearly as amazing as watching them in person. it was wonderful. i have always loved horses and always will. I guess i never will figure out why i love horses so much, or why i even started loving them, but what matters is that i do.

ive always liked horses, just never THAT much til camp.

ive been riding for 2 and half months.

my 2 best friends like horses, and i decided to go to a horse camp.
thats where i learned to ride. i remember the first horse i ever rode, it was a black and white paint called Dolly. she was great. i was SO nervaus i had butterflys and was afraid i would fall. i didnt it was AMAZING!!!
for my trail horse i had a chestnut Standerbred named Chester. i loved him.
then when i got home, a half a month later, i saw a sign for a stable that gave lessons. i went to thier website and did some reasearch. i was almost ready to present taking lessons to my parents, when my dad asked if i wanted to take lessons. i said yes. we foun 4 Jays Horse Ranch and i started lessons every Sun. for an hour. i have to give half my allowence and half my babysitting money, but its soooooooooooooo worth it.
my plan is to someday have a small stable and my kids will ride and i will to of course. and when i get old enough to get a job in highschool, i hope to be a stablehand at a stable.
