Great books! I recomend that you read "Phantom Stallion" series first though there's 24 books in the series and they're all really great books! WHI ties in with the phantom stallion so you really should read PS first.
"Hoofbeats" series, I forget the other, but AWSOME series, even though it's a REALLY easy read.
And "War Horse" Haven't read it yet, but it got great reveiws!
Movies
"The Horse Whisperer" WATCH IT!!!! I loved it!! Robert Redford stars in it.
"Seabiscuit" AWSOME AWSOME AWSOME!
"Spirit" Cartoon, but REALLY good!

War Horse.... is that the one where a blood bay farm horse is sold to the army? If it is then I LOVE that book though it is sad in some parts it is a great book.

I've watched and read The Horse Whisperer and can honestly say that the book is ten times better. Easily. The film is good, I do really like it. But the book is so much more amazing. It is written for adults though, so theres more graphic imagery and adult speech and stuff.
