The Champion

Chloe cantered a Dark Bay mare towards the triple jump, squeezing the mare on as she approch. Chloe's trainner stood in the arena watching carefully as Chloe approch the first jump of the triple, the dark bay mare sprang up off her hindlegs as they flew over the jump. Landing gental a few strides over the second and then over third a clear round. Chloe patted the mare as she trotted around the arena hearing her trainner clapping.
"Well done, clear round!" Called Hannah smiling, as Chloe pulled the dark bay mare to a work.
"Thanks Hannah!" Replyed Chloe smiling, longening her reins to let the mare stretch her neck after a great afternoons work. Chloe jumped off and led the mare out of the arena her trainner waiting at the arena gate.
"Bess work brilliantily today" Said Hannah smiling giving Bess a pat, Chloe smiled and led Bess back to her stable. she unbolted the stable door leading Bess in as she immedently went to her water, Chloe rolled up the stippurs, unbuckling the girth and placed it on the saddle. Chloe carefully lifted the saddle off and placed it on the stable door as she took Bess's bridle off, giving Bess a hug.
"You were great today!" Whispered Chloe walking out and took her tack to the tackroom to do some cleaning. The tackroom door was open as she walked in some other horse owners in, Chloe sighed as she saw the girl she hated in there.
"Well if it isn't Miss Chloe Parker!" Smirked Lynsey, Chloe rolled her eyes as she sat down on a chair, picking up the saddle soap and bucket of warm water, taking the stippurs and girth off, as one of the stablehands Ty came into the tackroom carrying a dirty rug. Lynsey straighed herself up seeing Ty, Chloe smiled she knew Lynsey liked Ty and was waiting to be asked out by him. Ty on the other hand didn't like her.
"Do you need a hand Ty?" Asked Lynsey smiling, Ty looked over at her with a kind smile.
"I'm ok thanks!" Answered Ty putting the rug into the washing manchine, Chloe looked over at Lynsey while she cleaned her saddle smiling at Lynsey disappointed face. Lynsey looked over at Chloe.
"What are you smiling at!" Snapped Lynsey firmily.
"Nothing" Replyed Chloe sitting up carrying on clean her saddle, as Ty sat down next to her picking up Bess's bridle helping her clean her tack. He took all the pieces off and began to clean the bridle pieces.
"How's Bess's eventing career doing?" Asked Ty wiping oil on cheek pieces.
"She's doing great I might put her in a show soon!" Replyed Chloe smiling just finishing her saddle with a wipe from a cloth and put everything back together and helped Ty put the bridle back together. Chloe put the saddle back on it rack, Ty put the bridle on the hook as a lound whinny rang in the yard.
"Sounds Like Bess wants me!" Laughed Chloe and walked out into the yard.
