Loads of people at my school have read Night World so I think I'll start because I really want to read them. Smiley Cem, I've read your rant at why you don't like the House of Night series. They're not as good as Twilight but I like them.

Honestly Scarlett, I doubt it. Sorry! A friend of mine has read the books and said they're okay, but they're still YA fiction and generally speaking, YA doesn't have the depth to it that I enjoy. Doesn't mean I won't enjoy the books, just means I don't expect to be blowed away by them. But then I've read 75+ books already this year, my standards for being 'blown away' and a book being 'the best' are pretty up there!!

YA = young adult. Or teen fiction to put it another way Smiley I have nothing against it, but I've grown out of most of it.

No, I never said I disliked all YA, it's just that I've grown out of a good sized portion of it, and generally I don't enjoy it nearly as much as adult fiction. Heartland, I love, always will. It's not spectacularly written and there are a fair few continuity errors, but I love the basis of it. CH...well, that was a bit young for me when they first came out and although I kinda like it, I'm not big fan of it. I'll read them once, but only if I've nothing else to read and I don't reread them like I will Heartland.

I've read them & I loved them!! Grin They're so amazing & I would recommend them to everyone. The Northern Lights was turned into a film at the end of 2007 called The Golden Compass.
It was ok for a film but they changed a lot of things in it. I think it was so that people who hadn't read the books could understand them.
