So, here's mine
Free
I woke up and hoped with all my might that it wasn't raining. It had been, for days! I wanted to go on that trail ride, my mom said a week ago that I could go on a trail by myself, no her, no trainer. Then the rain came for 4 days. That ment no trail ride.
I got up shut my eyes and made way to the window. Then opeed,"YES!!!" I quickly got dressed and ran downstairs. My mom was waiting, she stopped me and made eat my breakfast at a respectable speed, as she called it.
Then at 10:00 I was off.
"Hey Whisper," I said as I walked into her stall," Ready?" I got her tack and tacked her up. Then I brought her out and mounted.
I knew exactly where I wanted to go. I wanted to go through the woods to the clearing. I kept Whisp at a walk through the woods, then we came to the large clearing. I brought Whisper into a trot as a circled the edge, then a canter, and a gallop.
Soon I was running, running, no not running, flying. I was a part of Whisper, not the cargo on top. I was everything, the winds, the sky, the sun. It was a part of me, I was a part of it, all my worries and thoughts were over, it was me and nature, me and Whisper. Together we flew, over the grass, into the bright blue sky. I couldn't feel Whisper under me, it seemed as if I was flying, on my own. I was free, free as the wind and the stars, free like the wind that blew wherever it pleased. That was the only way to decribe, what was going through my mind and what I felt in my heart, my body, and Whispers movement. Flying free, but it was over too soon.
I could hear Whisper breathing hard, so I brought her back to a canter, a trot, a walk and we stopped. We caught our breathand rode back home.
It was over but, I would never forget it, everytime I went to the clearing I would hear the wind and see the sun and sky and remember that day. The day I dicovered what free, really ment.
Did ya like it? Is it good??
