Hi I had a very interesting jumping lesson today and I would like some advise on what to do next time this happens. I know this has nothing to do with stories but it really dosen't fit into anything else! I was riding this really nice pony named Chase. Another girl in my lesson was riding a horse named Bear. So Bear was acting up a lot and the girl riding him is not that good of a rider and I was doing really good this particular day so my instructor made me get off Chase and get on Bear. I got bucked off twice because after every jump he swerves to the left but then if I hit him with my crop he bucks. Please give me some advice!!! I am riding Bear again next Saturday so I am hoping he is in a better mood by then!!

Crops arent really bad, I agree with Heartlands methods but not all...no offense. If crops are used right, they're only supposed to be used to put more pressure where your legs should be if ur legs arent strong enough, or atleast thats wat ive been taught. I dont really know any advice but maybe if you encourage him going towards the jump and keep him focussed, that might help Smiley sry if it doenst
