I just started off the serie of Half Moon Ranch bu Jenny Oldfield.
I don't really like it at the moment .... Have you read any of them ? |

about me: i want to open a horse rescue like heartland my favorite horse: chick!!!! he's about 15.6 hh and thour/quarter horse mix he use to race but they said he was to slow so this one woman rescued him and in no way is unspoiled his real name is way to long to remember so he goes by chick  |

I've read all the Half Moon ranch books. I used to really like them when I was like 12 or 13 or something. I read one of them again a few months ago when I found them in a box in the attic. And I sort of changed my opinion of them. They're ok, but not great. I don't think they have the quality the Heartland books do (well the first 20 anyway!) and, I don't know, there is just something about them I don't like so much now but I don't really know what! lol

There's something I don't like in these books too, but I think it's like, when you know Heartland, it's hard to get any better books lol ! |

lol, yeah Zaza, I'm with you. I think a lot of it is down to them not being anywhere near as good as Heartland, but cause I read them before Heartland, I didn't know it then! But I know it now! lol

Ive read a few but like Cem said there ok but not as good as Heartland. I don't think many horse fiction books are lol.

I've read the 3rd first books : they are ok after all. I can read them in one day like heartland. |
