Personally, I now think that its most likely that its a group of ghost writers and thats why there's no info. Like Spirit said in one of the other threads, it would explain all the little detail mistakes. I think its the most logical thing.

Not as hard as you'd think. And there are plently of mistakes, like Sundance is said to be palamino in one of the books, he isn't, he's buckskin, and Ben's surname is messed up in one, how old Ty was when he started working at Heartland changes in several books, and the gender of a couple of horses are changed too. There are a lot more than that too, I jsut can't be bothered to list them all.

Its never too clear with Qiunce in Chestnut Hill...and I'm sure in Heartland a couple change gender...

I think its logical, even if its dissapointing in a way, I had expectations of Lauren's life, from her pets to her hair colour.

Erm, I'm pretty sure that Solly was one. Was called a filly at one point and then a colt the rest of the time, but I'd need to check to be sure. But I know that it has happened.

And Spirit is right, they changed it with Quincy in CH too I'm pretty sure.

And I agree its dissapointing as well.

I agree, I remember Solly being called a filly.

Every query I have had fits to Ghostwriters.

No, I am sure there are some little mistakes.

Its no big deal, it just does explain a few things, I mean calling Sundance a palomino and getting Ty's age when he joined Heartland are vital threads.

Sundance is notoriously the fiesty, fiery, rebellious buckskin.

Yep! And maybe you have a later copy of the book where Solly is called a filly pony lover and it had been fixed, but it did happen. And I know that he's meant to be a colt all the time! lol.

Sorry pony lover, but all those mistakes are there and Spirit is right, although I don't like the idea at all, ghost writers is the most likely option. It just makes sense.

Because they had a deal! No one else could have continued the series after the first writer without a contract becuase its all copywrited. They were obviously happy not to be the sole writer for it.

Well, the mystery was solved on another board.

It is ghostwriters...sort of.

Lauren Brooke, the actual person only outlines and develops the plots, and then a variety of professional writers take over and write the books.

Wow that's so disappointing. I always thought that Lauren Brooke was ALIVE. But anyway, this mystery is still not solve, so it still could be one real person.
