Michelle
Rain was falling,
The night was cool,
I was moving,
Tears stung my eyes,
My voice cracked,
I told her the news,
My best friend,
Always and forever,
A new state and life ahead of me,
I cried whenever I thought about you,
We kept in touch,
Always for the past three years we became closer than ever,
Her words when she wrote me the letter:
"Life's a winding road,
And it will always lead me back to you."
You are forever in my heart Michelle.

I don't really like the poem. Well firstly, there are no rhyms (um, how do you write it ?) lol.
Then, there is no constant rythm. Like maybe you should have 4 syllables in each phrase. See ? |

yes! it actually happened 3 years ago! i have still kept in touch with her and we have gotten so much closer to eachother. and she really did say 'life's a winding road, and it will always lead me back to you'

I have to agree, ZAZA.
A couple months ago we did this big unit on poetry and there's this thing called like freewrite poetry or something, but ANYWAY it means that the poet can write ANYWAY they want, it doesn't have to rhyme. Also, if you say it right, I can hear a rythym.
I liked it!!!

I thought it was beautiful and personal.
She sounds like a very special person & friend.
The beauty of poetry is thaty there are no boundaries, and it is all freedom of choice.
The sad thing is that many people have different opinions about it. It makes it diverse, but sometimes people don't appreciate it so much for the work that has gone into it.
I'm sure Zaza only meant it as an idea, right?

yes zaza probably did, but you all r so encouraging i mean at first when zaza wrote that it really hurt because it was really special what happened to me and my friend. but then i thought about it and now i thought about it more and i think that zaza meant from a different point of view. so im not upset anymore, i appreciate that all of you tell the truth its very touching. |
