Im from New Zealand and school is quite different here. We have about 17 classes for each subject and we have a canteen instead of a cafeteria Its pretty boring. We are banned from the library and the library corridor now coz of all the rubbish. Our primary school(elementary) goes from new entrance to year 6,intermediate year 7-8 and college up to year 13

Were I live in the UK, we have nursery, then primary school (ages 4/5 up to 11). Then we have secondary or high school, which ages 11/12 up to 16. After my school holidays, (we break up tomorrow-Woo Hoo ) I will be in my last year.

Fun!! The thing with the US is that it's different everywhere im from the US and it goes preschool kindergarten -in the elementary school in the elementary its k-5 middle school- 6-8 high school- 9-12 See, that isn't right where I live. Right now it's Elementary-K-6 and Highschool-7-12. After the new school is built we'll be Elementary K-4 Middle School 5-8 High School 9-12. But only 7-12 graders will switch classes.

whoa thats hard to follow.
u guys start highschool in grade 7?? lucky\! we start in grade 8!
Sorry! When I read it back-it really confused me! England has a grading syste, to America: Year One- ages 5-6 Year Two - ages 6-7 Year Three- ages 7-8 Year Four-ages 8-9 Year Five- ages 9-10 Year Six- ages 10-11 Year Seven- ages 11-12 Year Eight- ages 12-13 Year Nine-ages 13-14 Year Ten- ages 14-15 Year Eleven- ages 15-16 Then it gets complicated ... Also, Middle School isn't very common in England. It is near i live. nearly every 1 goes 2 middle skool ;p
