help my frends horses is sick i ned help what are tha sinse of colick?

hay it is ok now. the oner did call the vet but because we live out in the country and he is the onely vet it tuck him a while to get there. we ened up walking the horse for almost 4 of 5 hours. we tuk terens walking him of and on. when the horse stoped it started to roll on its back so we had to keep him walking.when the vet got out there he sayed that the horse did not have colic but he thought it might be a infection in his stomach but he gave him some medds so now the horse is ok. but we still dont know for shure if the horse is going to survive.
but get this i uased pepermit and lavender oils and t-tuch on the horses and it helped him alot. the horse clomed down and stoped rolling on the ground. i am soooo thank full!!!!
