Champion Part 10

Her mum switched engine of the horsebox's pulling up into the car park too. Chloe sat there for a while before opening the car door and stepped out breathing in the fresh air.Chloe unbolted the ramp to the horsebox the driver got out to help. Once the ramp was safetly down Chloe walked up into the box untieing Chancer and Valentine, leading them down carefully and led them from the archway opening the gate the archway into the yard. It seemed silent no noise at all. Where was everyone? The noise was Valentine and Chancer's shoes clattering on the floor. Mum joined her taking hold on Chancer.
"Take hold on Chancer again I go and find the yard owner" Said her mum handing Chancer back over to her. Chloe watched her mum go to reception a few second later a young gentleman came out of the tackroom he looked over at Chloe and walked over carrying his tack.
"Hello, you must the new livery. My names Jake Johnson" Introduced the young gentleman. Chloe smiled and shook his hand.
"My names Chloe" Said Chloe, Jake smiled in return, before he walked away to tack up his horse. She watched him go remembering his name. It suddenly struck.....Jake Johnson was an top eventer, top Jockey and top instructor. She hadn't even realised.
