Easy, the first Heartland book, Coming Home, because its always best to start at the beginning!

i like the 2nd 3rd and 6th CH books

as for hearland, so far ive only read the 1st two and they were kinda depressing but still hopefull, but not really my kind of thing to read, even tho im going to keep going

anyway....

for chestnut hill i would choose the first one, The New Class
and for heartland i would say special edition Beyond the Horizon (i 4got which number it is!)LOL

Beyond the Horizon?!?! No way!!! Thats one of the very worst!!

Sorry, sorry, everyone can have their own opinion, I know, I'm exhausted so speaking my mind. lol Seriously, its go the most unbelieveable horse storyline there is. Why would you recommend it? I promise not to totally jump on you for it again, just shocked me lol
