Yes. Honestly I do. I adore Amy and Ty as a couple and want them back together. But I think its more realistic for them to be apart while Amy's in college. That said, the way its done in the books is wrong. I would have expected them to make it through her first year away at the very least. In my mind they would have split after the 2nd year there. And I'd like to see them back together in either her 2nd to last or final year at college because I do believe they're right for each other.

I do have to agree with you on that Cem!  I think it was realistic that they broke up..... and if they got back together after Amy comes home that would be even more exciting.. and then Lauren would have more to write about and the series would go until Ty and Amy get married and have children then she could start a new series about their children.... and so on and so forth.....  |

i totally agree with u cem and gypsyqp! i mean she is such a great author and she could carry on the serries through the children! but i dont think ty and amy are gettin back together because she made it pretty clear in the book a summer to remember.

I agree with all of you. I think Ty and Amy are right for eachother and Amy was tottaly crushed in AWG. SHe wanted it to go back to the way it was and I think that Ty could give Amy good moral support when she starts being a Vet. Ty has always been there for Amy and Amy's always been there for Ty so why should it change?

Yeh...i mean its wat happens but they shud get back together totally straight away...coz i mean a long distance relationship is hard but still...wat about that ring.. but still i hope they get bak together.!!! |

I really do hope they get back together...  If they got back together Lauren could carry the series on forever... Seriously... if they got back together. She could write one on amy's first big vet job, and if them two stay together, she could do one about ty proposing to amy, then the wedding.... and so on...... |

Havent you read the blurb for the new books? They used to have them on this site....anyway not many of them were about Heartland (2 or 3 I think)
I reckon she should give the series a new title instead of Heartland like Amy and her pre mid-life crisis lol and she can still write about her children. If her an Alfredo have kids they can call them Alfredo Jr and Alfredeena or Pasta and Sauce XD.

You're right though Montana, about her crushing a lot of fans by changing the characters and having Amy break away from Heartland. She spent the first 20 books making us love these characters and Heartland itself and showed us how much it all meant to AMy, now she's taken it all away.

Im inventive like that  and yup your right Cem its like if JK Rowling had finished the Harry Potter books with "and then Voldemort fell down the stairs and broke his neck so they all lived happily ever after" purley because she knew no matter what she wrote in that book loads of people would still buy it lol. But she diddnt because she wanted to please her fans, something LB doesnt seem to be thinking about at the moment. Its like all shes thinking is "everybody loves heartland now is on TV so it dont matter how much I screw up the characters people will still buy them yay!" XD |
