Books. No question. I like the films, but compared to the books they're rubbish.
I adore the books, they're one of my favourite series of books ever. I bought the 7th one at Midnight when it was released. Was so much fun! The place was packed with HP fans, lots of them in fancy dress and stuff, so cool.

books defiantley the films leave out and change too much. I mean there okay but nowhere near as good as the books. haha I went to one of them Cem for the last one at borders it was very good  |

if you liked harry potter, you LOVE the Percy Kackson and the Olypians books by Rick Riodron (i dunno if i spelled the author's name right).
its confuseing but the book makes perfect sence!
it's about this kid (Percy) wh discovers that his dad is Poseidon, the Greek God of the Sea! then he gets accused of stealing Zeus's lightning bolt (lol) that's ZXeus's most powerful weapon and so he and his two friends Annabeth (a daughter of Athena) and Grover (who is a man/goat) have to go to Hades to take it back b/c they think he has it!
they're really good - sorry if i spoiled it!
there are the books :
1- the Lightning Theif
2 - the Sea of Monsters
3 - the Titan's Curse
4 - the Battle of the Labyrinth (which came out not too long ago)
they're totally awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Rick Riodron-or-whatever!

i like the books a bit better because the films often leave out bits like in the fifth film there is no flying at all.

The films, quite frankly, suck. They're ok if you haven't read the books I guess, but having read the books, the films suck. lol
