From what I've read I don't think Patience HAS to be that bad. It's kind of like at school. There's a "popular" girl and her friend sticks up for her cause she has no where else to go! And Lyndsey knows it, so she uses her.

Yeah makes sense. Though in the latest book (not really giving anything away!) she's really nasty too and it doesn't have anything to do with Lyndsey.

I dunno, maybe a little. Its kinda hard to know. Theres a bit with Lyndsey in the new book, Chasing Dreams, thats kinda surprising, in a good way and makes me wonder about the friendship between her and Patience.
Thinking about it though, you might be right. She's just a lot meaner than Lyndsey.

I think Lynsey will be tread on people's toes to get to the top, butPatience just does it for no proper reason. Lynsey won't be harsh for no reason, unless she benefits out of it. Patience just enjoys being horrid, Lynsey uses it as a tool.
